My December Compositions from the River Elbe

Just before Christmas 2023 it rained heavily in the whole of Germany with the North and West regions being heavily impacted by flooding. Saxony was lucky, as the rain did not reach us, but the amount of water from other rivers flowing into the river Elbe/Dresden caused its level to rise from normal 2m to over 6m. The neighbouring fields and flood areas were full for days and I took the chance to capture the trees that usually stand "boringly" in the fields with a different perspective, not forgetting that many people who live near the rivers had much more to worry about than me finding a decent composition. Here are a few of the colour and B&W exposures captured during those weeks.
